Melatonin Liquid - Lemon Flavor (2 fl oz) *Support the sleep and wake cycle - Fructose Free
Melatonin Liquid from Neurobiologix is a fast acting liquid formula that tastes great and makes it easy to adjust dosing according to an individual's unique needs. Melatonin is a hormone produced in the brain by the pineal gland from the amino acid tryptophan. The production and release of melatonin are stimulated by darkness and decreased by light, suggesting that melatonin is involved in circadian rhythm (the internal body clock) and regulation of diverse body functions. Levels of melatonin in the blood are highest prior to bedtime.
The most common use of melatonin is to aid in occasional sleeplessness. The strongest evidence supporting the use of melatonin is for delayed sleep phase and jet lag.* When absorbed in the mouth, melatonin may go directly to the brain and bypass the liver causing it to work quickly and effectively.*

Features
Melatonin is naturally produced in your brain. It tells your body that itss nighttime and it's time to go to bed. Many may mistake its power for that of a sleeping pill and feel compelled to take more for better sleep. However, at the wrong dosage, melatonin may actually destroy your sleep cycle. Too much melatonin at one time may also cause headaches, nausea, dizziness, or irritability so consult with your healthcare practitioner if you experience this.
